35 Years Roofing Devon's Homes
Sherford Roofing & Maintenance Limited was built on one idea: give people an honest assessment of their roof and do the work properly.
The trade, from the ground up
Andy Crane started in the roofing trade in 1988 and hasn't stopped since. Over 35 years working on roofs across Devon, from Victorian terraces in Plymouth's Mutley Plain to flat-roofed commercial units in Exeter, Andy built a reputation that has nothing to do with sales patter and everything to do with getting the job right.
In 2022, Andy formalised decades of trusted work under Sherford Roofing & Maintenance Limited. The company is based in Sherford, on the edge of Plymouth, and covers the wider Devon area including Brixham, Exeter, and the South Hams.
The Ltd company brought structure to what had always been a principle-led operation: qualify properly, certify where it matters, never cut corners, and explain to the customer exactly what is wrong with their roof before you quote a penny.
On Checkatrade, Sherford Roofing has passed 12+ independent background checks and carries the £1,000 Checkatrade guarantee on all work. A verified reviewer in PL2 scored the team 10/10: "Excellent roofing work, communication and advice throughout. Professional, honest and knowledgeable."
