Emergency Roofing Service
Storm damage or an active leak doesn't wait for office hours. The emergency line is monitored round the clock, every day of the year.
A reputable emergency roofer responds within hours, not days, typically two to six hours for storm-damage callouts, faster in urban areas. The priority is always the same: a safety assessment, then temporary weatherproofing, tarping or sheeting the affected area, to stop further water ingress before a permanent repair is scheduled once materials and conditions allow.
Sherford Roofing operates a genuine 24/7 emergency line across Plymouth and Devon. A properly fitted heavy-duty tarp typically holds for 30 to 90 days, but it's always a temporary measure, not a fix, we follow up with a scheduled permanent repair as soon as it can be arranged.
Our Process
Call the Emergency Line
The 24/7 line is answered by a real person, call as soon as you notice storm damage or an active leak.
Safety Assessment
We assess the damage and prioritise safety before anyone goes near the affected area, don't attempt to go on the roof yourself.
Temporary Weatherproofing
The affected area is tarped or sheeted to stop further water ingress, typically holding for weeks while a permanent repair is arranged.
Permanent Repair
A scheduled permanent repair follows as soon as materials and conditions allow.
