Hot Melt Roofing Installation

A fully bonded, seamless rubberised bitumen membrane, poured and trowelled hot, with one of the longest design lives in flat roofing.

Hot melt systems use a rubberised bitumen compound, heated to a liquid in a boiler and poured and trowelled directly onto the roof to form a completely seamless, fully bonded membrane. Brands like Bauder and Radmat are widely specified UK systems, often quoted with a design life of 35 years or more, and their seamless nature means there are no joints for water to find.

Sherford Roofing installs hot melt roofing systems across Plymouth and Devon, particularly suited to inverted warm roofs, podium decks, balconies and green or blue roof build-ups, where the membrane's durability under ballast, substrate or paving matters.
