Darke Hall, Regina: Copper Roof on the Rear Elevation
The rear of a historic Regina landmark, re-roofed in copper after its original tin waterproofing reached the end of its life.
On the rear section of Darke Hall in Regina, the building's original tin waterproofing had reached the end of its working life. Andy ran the project to strip it out and replace it with a new copper standing-seam roof system.
Rather than installing it personally, Andy's role was to oversee the specialist metal roofing crew, working with an assistant to make sure the installation was carried out correctly and to standard on this historically significant building.
Outcome
A durable copper standing-seam roof now protects the rear elevation of one of Regina's oldest buildings, expected to outlast the tin system it replaced by decades.
